Aromatherapy is the use of the essential oils of plants, fruits, trees and grasses to promote and support health and vitality.  The use of aroma to maintain well-being has been used for centuries.  Originally in the form of the burning of aromatic plant materials and incense, perfumery and, more recently (in the last 6000 or so years), in the form of essential oils.  Aromatherapy does not cure disease.  It can, however, support the emotional and spiritual well-being of an individual who is experiencing chronic disease, and it can help to alleviate the stress that often accompanies acute illness and injury.  In my practice I work with animals to address trauma from neglect and/or abuse and with individuals to craft personalized health and wellness solutions to support their mind and body.  I believe that this personalized approach can bring reassurance, encouragement, comfort and reflief to each individual.
